Our vision is “Joining together for Bendigo children –our children and their families flourish and lead happy, healthy lives”.
Communities for Children (C4C) Bendigo is a place based, whole of community approach to strengthen early childhood development and wellbeing. We work collaboratively with families to provide a range of programs and resources that responds to the diversity of needs across the community and ensures all children and families have what they need for a great start in life.
C4C Bendigo celebrates the rich and diverse families that live in our community. We actively promote families’ strengths and capabilities through building the capacity of the early years sector and funding projects for families with pre-school aged children.
The Australian Government Department of Social Services funds the Communities for Children initiative. The program aims to deliver positive and sustainable outcomes for children and families in 52 communities throughout Australia, Bendigo is one of those sites.
C4C Bendigo is a partnership of local services who work together to support children and their families.
