Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV) provides free trauma informed counselling, advocacy and support for people who have experienced a recent or historical sexual assault.
CASACV also offers secondary consultation, community education and professional training within the community and across the sector.
For people who have experienced a recent sexual assault we provide 24-hour crisis care that includes counselling, support, information and advocacy for medical care and legal options.
Two programs are offered to children:
Sexual Abuse Counselling and Support | The CASACV Children, Youth and Families team provide counselling and support and advocacy services to children and young people (4- 18 years) who have experienced sexual abuse. |
Refocus Program | Prevention and early intervention services to children and young people (4- 18 years) who display problem sexual behaviours. |

Target population
CASACV works with all ages, but under the age of 5 we have a family focus (non-offending members only) and would include the parent/carer.
Eligibility Criteria
- CASACV receives referrals for children and young people under 18 years of age if they have experienced sexual abuse or assault or display problem sexual behaviours.
- CASACV accepts referrals for adults who have experienced sexual abuse or assault, no matter how long ago in the past it may have occurred.
- CASACV does not provide a service for adults who use abusive and/or violent behaviour in any form.
- CASACV delivers services to people living in the Loddon Campaspe Region.
