  • Aboriginal Private Rental Assistance Program (APRAP)
  • Aboriginal Tenancy At Risk (ATAR)

Service provided

  • The Aboriginal Private Rental Assistance Program (APRAP) provides advocacy and holistic support to community members that are at risk of homelessness. The program assists community to access the private rental market with support to sustain the tenancy long term.
  • The Aboriginal Tenancy At Risk (ATAR) program provides support for community to apply for tenancy with Aboriginal Housing Victoria (AHV) and Office of Housing and/or maintain their tenancy. The program aims to establish, maintain and apply for priority transfers to prevent eviction and homelessness.

 Please note, BDAC does not have any housing stock.

Target population

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families.
