Doorways Community Support and Moneycare

Service provided

Three services are provided:

• Salvos Phone Assistance for people requiring financial assistance to support them through a crisis.
• Doorways Case Management assistance to help resolve short and long term issues and provide ongoing support in a case management model as needed.
• Moneycare Financial Counselling assists clients to develop budgeting strategies and ultimately to build financial capability and resilience.

Target population

Individuals & families experiencing disadvantage.

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone who is experiencing hardship and is living in Bendigo, and the surrounds.

Referral pathway

People can self-refer.

To access Doorways Community Support (for Salvo Phone Assistance and Case Management) call (03) 8873 5288 between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

To access Moneycare Financial Counselling ring (03) 5440 8410.

Attending the Mundy Street office prior to making phone contact will also be supported where possible pending worker availability.
