Funding model
This is an FFS practice. Families wanting to access this service will need to:
- Self-fund and obtain a reimbursement from their private health insurance provider (if covered),
- Access Medicare funding (via Chronic Disease Management Programme).
Service provided
Hand therapists are specialists who are experienced in treating conditions and injuries of the hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, and shoulders.
Kym’s specific interest areas are fine motor skill development ideas, functional handwriting, hand strengthening and co-ordination, as well as assessment.

Referral pathway
Families can self-refer by completing the on-line self-referral from located at https://www.kfot.health/appointments
If families wish to access Medicare, they will need a referral from their GP.
