Between 2024 and 2027, the Bendigo & District Aboriginal Co-operative (BDAC) is working closely with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community residing on Dja Dja Wurrung Country to design the services BDAC will deliver in the future.

Our Future, Our Way will see BDAC work intensively with Community over the next three years to design their future services. The first phase of consultations is now underway and explores four key questions about BDAC services and what success looks like. After this the project will go into more detail with future yarns over the next 18 months.

Focus groups will be held in August or September and providers and organisations working with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community are invited to share the following information about the project with their clients, including links to register interest in joining a group.  Here is the link to register for a community focus group session.
